ALEXA J. BURLEIGH

I first discovered that I loved sound when I entered band in 6th grade. As a percussionist I was fascinated by the idea that all sound is music. I carried this ideal with me to college, where I was able to combine my music minor and my film major to discover a new understanding of film sound. I was able to hone in on my passion for composing sound scapes for film and for manipulating sounds to create meaning for the image on the screen.
